"The public areas of the hotel were clean and comfortable but my room was downright scruffy. The carpet was fraying in places and although the toilet, sink and shower in the bathroom were clean the room itself was in need of attention. The only good thing about the room was the view! "The best place to be in the centre of Ullapool- but no offers of help to the second floor with our bags - much needed. Didn’t eat in hotel as too many good places around…. Room was too hot - grateful for the fan - our room was much smaller than any others we saw ."
