"I did a lot of research when trying to pick the right resort for me as a single woman in my 20s who enjoys both peace and fun, and I felt like this resort was a great fit. One thing I really liked was being able to visit the resort next door if we wanted more of an adults-only vibe, while still having a more wholesome, relaxed experience at Onyx. It really gave us the best of both worlds. The staff were all kind and welcoming, and a huge shoutout to the entertainment team! Special shoutout to Pineapple for making us feel welcome and always making sure we were having a good time, a great dancer too. The food was not bad, but a lot of the restaurants were closed throughout the week, which didn't give us many options to choose from. However, you can always find something at the buffet that's up your alley. The overall atmosphere is definitely more family-oriented. There was plenty of space around the pool, and I enjoyed the shows and entertainment offered. I was not a Preferred member, so I can't speak much about the adults-only section. The only place with more of a club vibe was the game room, which closes at 1 AM and has games that cost extra. However, the resort next door has a club if you're looking for more nightlife. Overall, it was a beautiful vacation and I really enjoyed the balance between relaxation and fun but yes leans more towards family vibes!"

"El hotel es muy bueno pero es un lugar para pasar un tiempo relax sin niños, tiene ciertas actividades en las barras que si entretienen pero no son al extremo si eso es lo que buscan. El personal es sumamente educado, atento, muy amables en recepción Yanet la ame agradecida, Osvaldo en el restaurante y buffet, entre varios más que no recuerdo sus nombres. El hotel no tiene aire central solo en ciertos locales y en el cuarto y para la humedad y calor de punta cana realmente no se siente lo suficiente. Sude cómo nunca, aunque puede ser la temporada de tiempo que asistí al lugar (septiembre). La discoteca no es tan movida en las noches asi que después de dos días de visitarla, optamos por salir con una agencia aparte (aunque no es lo recomendado) pero fue seguro y lo disfrutamos , éramos un grupo de 26 y la pasamos afuera cómo queríamos. Mi comentario es basado an mis expectativas y la realidad de lo que encontré. El hotel es muy bonito realmente. Btw las sábanas de mi cama nunca las cambiaron. Agradecida con Rosa en la piscina muy atenta"
