"Quick and easy check in. Paid a small fee to check out a couple hours later than check out time. Parking underground was reasonable price, but it is not a secure lot. The price a night seems a bit high considering there are not many amenities in the hotel, as well there are no complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. Very complicated coffee makers in the room. The room was very comfortable and beautiful view of the sea, with a nice patio to enjoy the view on. Unusually to provide used (I assume washed) slippers. Great location, Sidney is beautiful. Overall a very nice stay and would stay here again."

Delightful Country Cottage with Ocean Outlook

"Beautiful peaceful spot for our 4th of July Getaway. Great little cabin for us and our dog. Kitchen was very well stocked and we had everything we needed. Restaurants on Pender Island are pretty limited, which don’t bother us. We used the BBQ every evening for dinner. Managed to find some good fresh fish at the local grocery store—strangely enough they were freshly stocked on a Sunday. Did a few short hikes around the island and Brigitte recommended some great beach access spots. Communicating with our host was incredibly easy and efficient. Will definitely come back."

"The lady that checked us in was so helpful and friendly. I wish I got her name. The hotel looked brand new and was only a few minutes drive from the airport. Concerns are was that mattress in the pull out coach felt very thin compared to their pull outs that we have slept on. So that bed was not very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was insufficient each time the workers brought out food it would be enough for only a few people and other guests would have to wait. I felt really bad for the breakfast staff as it was not their fault, the kitchen was not equipped to handle the number of guests. I was told they only had one oven. To me is seemed they were just heating up frozen pre packaged eggs from Costco. So the hot food was disappointing for me and they never replenished the cut fruit as they may have run out or just did not have the time as they were working so hard to refill the hot food little by little. Even under all the pressure they must have felt, the breakfast staff were lovely and did their absolute best. As for the cold food, drinks and coffee they were excellent .We especially enjoyed the coffee machine that made lattes and top tier hot chocolate. Fitness centre and pool were great. I also want to share that whenever I passed by hotel staff, I was greeted with a smile and a warm hello. This hotel is about 35 minute drive to Victoria."
