"Free breakfast was nothing to write home about. Pancake machine didn't cook them properly. Scrambled eggs seemed like they were from powered eggs. Bacon was over cooked. The coffee was good and freshly made per cup. I booked my room through Expedia. When I checked out, the clerk would not give me a receipt or tell me what the total was on my bill. She was also pretty rude when I attempted to push the issue stating it was my credit card she was using. Probably won't go back. There are many other...

"We always stay here when we travel to Elko. Always a great stay, staff is nice and accommodating."

"Definitely not sound proof. The rooms were fine but the hotel is on a busy intersection and the noise is VERY hard to sleep through. Not the hotels fault, but don’t recommend if you need sleep or are a light sleeper."

"Love it, just perfect"

"We had a great stay! The room was nice and clean, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Overall, a great experience! We would definitely stay here again!"

Free breakfast was awesome with tons of options including hot food and many different beverages along with the standard continental type food. Toiletries provided were nice quality. Property was old and badly in need of updating. Room smelled musty. Wobbly toilet, old cigarette burns on counter tops, second fooor opened wide enough for a kid or small adult to fall out, room...

"Best price in town, discounts the longer you stay. Centered in a good location in town."

"I like the American Inn however after building heat went out, then power went out, and I saw a mouse in my room, I am going to try a different hotel on my next trip in Elko."

"Nice clean rooms with wonderful vuew of the mountions"
