"Quick checkin and friendly staff. Parking $10/day when surrounding hotels do not charge seemed unnecessary especially when it is a very big parking lot near a mall. There wasn't a hair dryer in the room as mentioned in "amenities" and surrounding hotels offer free breakfast. In comparison to the surrounding hotels this was not a step up. No hot water our last night so they comped our parking when we mentioned it. The hot water problem was known but not mentioned to us until we brought it...

"Comfortable and spacious room. Complimentary breakfast was good and changed slightly each day. Gym was clean."

"Very comfortable room and we slept well. When we first arrived, the room had a terrible strong chlorine smell. The front desk person switched us to a different room. Glad they were able to do that. If that hadn't been possible, I don't know what we would have done. Front desk person suggested dinner take-out from Bertucci's, very close by, and that was really great."

"Went to Boston for my 28th anniversary, stay was everything I expected, room was perfect, the bartender was on point and the breakfast had plenty of options."

"The location and views are excellent! The hotel is well maintained, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it!"

"فندق رائع وموقع مناسب"

"Property was overall run down. The elevator was filthy. No hand sanitizer to be found in lobby and breakfast area. I asked the front desk for some and they told me I could wash my hands in the kitchen! Gym had no wipes for equipment either. I know that Holiday Inn express is considered a basic budget-friendly hotel property but I found it to be mediocre at best. The staff was just ok, not very welcoming and just blasé. I would not recommend this much overpriced property."

"Love it"

"Clean room, good breakfast"

"The room and the staff were amazing. Took a little long to check in since there was only one person working the front desk."

"Staff, room, property were all perfection! Thankyou! I will come again."

"Location, location, location. That's what you're paying for with this hotel. You're about 2 blocks from Boston Common, Chinatown, and just a little further to Newbury St./Back Bay. Parking was easy...the Pilgrim Parking on Lafayette is connected to the hotel so you don't even have to go outside after you park. I wish they wouldn't charge "destination fees". We didn't use any of the "perks" that that fee supports anyway. Our adult son used the gym and he really liked it - was impressed by the...
