"Extremely spacious clean hotel. People were very welcoming and eager to assist. Great room service. Only reason I wouldn’t give it five stars is the bed was so soft. You could roll off the edge if you weren’t careful while sleeping. Also rather high parking fees per day, which was $43 for Self Park, $45 for valet. Also note they did for warn us of the parking fees."

"I really enjoy staying at this property and am so blessed for the entire package and all the staff is top tier but I have to give a special shout out to Jason he is the best he is very genuine very helpful and I appreciate him so much I look forward to his shift because I know everything will run smoothly and it will be safe and drama free while he is here and if I need anything I can ask him and he never makes me feel like I am imposing or that it inconvenient for him and that is how hospitality should be done thank you sunset int owners and staff for making this place home to some of us it is a nice change "

"This is a very cheap option in a very expensive area. You get what you pay for. The property is rundown. There are no extras. All you get in a quiet, clean room and parking spot. That's all I needed, so I am totally satisfied."

"The room was fine. Staff was friendly. We chose this hotel because it was pet-friendly, but had no idea about the $75/night pet charge (we have a small dog) or the policy that you cannot leave your pet alone in the room for even 5 minutes. This was annoying and inconvenient and it would have been nice to know this at the time of making the reservation. Once you arrive you cannot really cancel and make new plans. "

"Convenient hotel as a home base to the Newport/Crystal Cove area. Perhaps most importantly, a very clean hotel. Front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. They offered us complimentary cookies and water bottles upon check in. There is always fresh coffee in the lobby. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh, and what you’d expect at a Hilton property in the U.S. The rooms were clean and although you can hear an occasional sound from neighbors, the walls didn’t seem paper thin as they sometimes can be at hotels these days. We couldn’t hear any conversations in the adjacent rooms. There is a 24 hour exercise room available. A grocery store is a very short walk away. Covered parking available under the hotel with elevator access. Had a great stay in February/March 2026. "
