"Long wait to check in only one receptionist . This is an old hotel that is trying to survive on the bare minimum..would not recommend it. It is a dump. I was overcharged $900 for one night still trying to get it back."

"Had a great stay at Queens Plaza Hotel. Denise and John keep a lovely place, nice comfortable rooms and a fantastic breakfast. Well worth it in my opinion. Nicely located a few minutes tram ride from the centre of blackpool. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others. "

"The lodge itself is a nice size and carpet and furnishings were clean and comfortable. I would suggest the en-suite showroom shower is blocked and doesn’t drain away and there is a smell from drains but not unbearable. The windows were very dirty and covered in marks which spoiled the look of the lounge perhaps again overlooked by cleaner but did look like they haven’t been done for many months.some of lower sockets in lounge dining room area worked then didn’t, loose connections The beds were very comfortable! And the new carpet very clean.If these issues are addressed I think it’d make the difference.I think it’s more issue with the cleaner than the lodge itself. The haven site staff are very friendly and there’s lots to do if you stay onsite with children. "

"Wasnt very clean. Pet hairs on bathroom floor an towels. Lge Cobwebs in hallway. Couch in need of upgrading altho had blankets over them. Beds comfy but window blinds needing replaced as it had broken cords and slats missing. A lot of owners paperwork lying about.Nice size telly with dvd player a bonus.Location ideal for blackpool and fleetwood.Cleanliness has put us off returning."
