"The biggest issue we had was the cost of the room and the actual worth of said room. We had room 1414, was supposed to be panoramic views of the city. Instead, we got to look into the adjacent building and all the apartments or rooms that people occupied. there was a major privacy concern, and we kept the blinds closed most of the time. Mainly because we knew if we could see them naked then they could definitely see us. aside from this the cleaning was sometimes good sometimes bad, very inconsistent. the balcony wasn't truly a balcony had 3 walls on it and sat back so no view at all but that giant white building. An, our two rooms had large floor to ceiling windows that looked into one another, so felt more like redlight district than anything else... at a cost well over 3k US dollars id stay somewhere else or don't pay for the 2 room panoramic views of 1414"

"Wonderfully situated for both Theatre and Tube access, a few minutes from Covent Garden and plenty of places to eat, although the hotel also has its own restaurant and bars.9999 The room was clean , but smaller than expected for a Superior Twin. The bathroom was adequate with large shower, but adjusting shower height was a little bit of a problem for a shorter person. Customer service was excellent and they dealt quickly with a problem with the bathroom. Breakfast was more than adequate adequate, it offered a large range of both Continental and English choices, I ate from both. The staff were very professional and there were plenty around if you needed anything. The only negative was the lift service, it was very slow and on more than one occasion there were more than one lift out of operation. Not a problem depending which floor you occupied. I have stayed here previously and would definitely repeat my stay. "

"Great location. Smooth check in. Room is comfortable but if you’re on the street side it’s fairly noisy. Bar and lobby is one of London’s biggest MacBook warrior hangouts. Biggest downside was the absurd frosted glass door on the bathroom (not all rooms have this) giving zero privacy; whoever designs these things needs to change career. "

"Location great for purpose of trip near King’s cross. Did not like that room doesn’t have safety latch on inside of room. No one at front desk or housekeeping answers phone. Shower drain didn’t work so we had to set up a makeshift device so water can drain. Lotion was empty. All in all room did not appear ready for guests. "

One oddness is that all the room lights work together - all on or all dim or all off - and not really off, either, they maintained soft lighting all night long. Overall, the hotel is fresh, comfortable, great breakfast at a great price, charming staff."
