"The location is great. Right by the beach, centrally located to all the attractions. Pool and pool area are great too. The rest in my opinion falls short of the 4 star, $500+ per night (with all the taxes and fees) hotel. I would give it 3.75 stars but there is no such option. Some areas are dated. You can tell the hotel tries to maintain them by painting stuff over but it shows. For me the worst were supply and return grills for the A/C unit. Very dirty. We actually had been turning the A/C off as much as we could so we would not breathe in the dust!! Thankfully the wonderful ocean breeze helped :) Breakfast buffet is decent but it falls short of the Marriott's standards. Some more daily variety would be nice."

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again without hesitation. There is no better location on Kauai and the ocean front access and views are the absolute best. "Condo was excellent and clean. Best part it was on the first floor, had a washer/dryer and its own outside hose on the Lanai to wash off after the beach. The beach in front of the property was narrow and a little rough, so we did not swim there. We did walk down the pathway another 100 yards to Lydgate Park Beach and swam there. Location gave us good access to both the north shore area and the south shore. We ate most of our meals in nearby Kapaa at food trucks. This resort is only minutes from the airport, but we never had any noise or flyovers from the planes."
"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This ground floor unit had two bedrooms (1king, 2 twin beds, a large living/dining area, kitchen, and 2 full bathrooms. This setup worked great for our family of four. There was no A/C but the tradewinds and fans kept the temperature comfortable. It was in a quiet area close to highways, Lihu’e, Kapa’a, etc. The location of the condo within the complex was great. There is an amazing ocean view from the main living area and one bedroom. The unit was close to laundry and parking. There were enough supplies and towels. It was useful to have a closet full of beach gear/toys/cooler. The pool was warm and suprisingly deep at one end which my kids loved. The walking trail that goes along the coastline was accessible from the grounds (which by the way are well maintained and beautiful). We were able to use the trail to walk to Lydgate Park in just a few minutes. The location of the condo was central and convenient for getting to other areas of Kauai. The unit shows its age but it was clean, comfortable, and more than adequate for our needs. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."
