"The location of The Hilton Garden Inn was perfect for everything I had planned. The property was clean, the room was clean and a great size, the staff were all friendly, and the complimentary coffee every morning was really good. I would highly recommend this Hotel. Mamahune’s also had some really good food!"

"Overall the property was great. Wonderful views and quiet. Every night we were able to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean waves. We would recommend updating the showerhead, as it is pretty old and squeals loudly the entire time you are showering. We did have an issue with the washer lid where it wouldn't lock so it had to be held down in order to run a load of laundry. We notified maintenance, but they weren't able to get someone out to fix it - I wish they could have as it was pretty inconvenient. They did offer to let us use another unit's machine."

"All in all this is a great place to stay! Very central to both the north and south shore, tons of good restaurants nearby, nice pool, pool bar, and beautiful grounds. The condos themselves are a little old and run down, and the living room furniture was extremely uncomfortable to sit on. The bed was relatively comfortable which helped. The timeshare representative at check in was pushy and extremely rude when I told her we weren’t interested. All in all the good out weighed the bad!"

"Stop- look no further for the perfect place to stay! The view is SO amazing there are no words to describe it! Centrally located ! Very comfy bed and everything was in great shape! We absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommend."

"Fern Grotto Inn (Coco D) was beautiful & comfortably furnished. Nice floral surprises everywhere with some yummy snacks, water & beer in the frig. Plenty of kitchen wares. There was Illy Coffee too. Our queen bed was very comfortable, although a bit high (I'm 5'6"). We were on the second floor (no elevator), which made for some nice views of the river from the kitchen/dining area. The grounds are absolutely stunning with beautiful plants & flowers everywhere. The Inn is located between Kapa'a & Lihue. Lots of things to do, restaurants & shopping nearby. You can go kayaking from the property to Fern Grotto, visit Smith's Garden & Luau (pricey, but includes a great meal & show). Need to book in advance. It's a very short drive from the Inn. Definitely do the doors off 1 hour helicopter tour of Kauai with Ali'i (expensive, but SO worth it!) from Lihue. Also, go to Allerton Garden & Estate (south) & Kilauea NWR (north). Too many things to do & so little time! We were there 4 nights. There is some road noise, even with the windows closed & there are roosters that like to crow at various times of the day or night, but there is Alexa that you can play music or white noise to offset any sounds. Paul was out of state, but we got to meet Rick. Great guy! Thanks Rick! Definitely a must stay!"
