"The hotel had a cool vibe. We were disappointed the restaurant and bar were not open. We went across the street to the deli/market to get some dinner but. The hot food section was closed so we ended up with junk food for dinner."

"Wonderful stay in a very old pre-Victorian home in a small town full of the same. The home is full of period furniture and items. Amazing. Hosts were very accommodating to our needs and accessible when we desired information or help. Breakfast was delightful!"

"Ours was a one-night stay to access the Avenue of the Giants. The location was good for that. The kitchen was well-equipped. The property was secure, behind a gate. I liked having an extra half-bath and laundry onsite.However, I don't think I would stay again due to one bed that squeaked badly, no air conditioning (it was quite warm upstairs, and opening the windows brought in constant traffic noise on Highway 101 below; I resorted to the provided electric fan, which only helped a bit), and the upstairs bath with a difficult-to-access bath/shower combo (narrow and high) and no adequate surface to put toiletries. I expected more at this price point."
