"Great stay and property."

"The chalets in the bush were beautiful, however there’s no lifts or parking near your room. So you had to carry your suitcases to your room and walk up & down the hill to reach your car. The breakfast was disappointing. I expected a lot more from a Mercure hotel."

"The room, bathroom, and kitchenette were very clean. Big plus included a little private balcony with great views onto the bay. Check-in was handled via the phone and the manager came a bit later to check if everything was ok. Parking was free. All in all, a nice place to stay."

"Clean rooms, great facilities and excellent location."

"What a nice and neat place to stay. Definitely worth checking out"

"We chose this location as part of our 6 day road trip from Wellington to Auckland. It is in a pleasant and convenient location for us and met our needs for an overnight stay."

"Check in was so quick and the people were so kind! We were able to learn about local activities and dining! The room was spacious and had everything we ended. Far enough from town for beautiful scenery but close enough that everything was a 10min drive or less. Incredible stay!"

"The room was super cute and the amenities in our studio were better than I expected. The onsite laundry was a big plus. The location is great - a couple blocks to the beach, not far from the Cathedral Cove track, and a ten minute drive to Hot Water Beach. There’s also a store and cafe next door. Highly recommended."

"Enjoyed the pool (floor could do with a paint) and the spa was good too. Rooms are a great size, with a handy kitchenette. Shower is a little dated & needs a paint. (but worked fine)"

"Margret runs a nice B&B. On the beach, half way up the Corimandel Peninsula. Wonderful breakfast spread. Comfortable bed and wonderful sunsets."

"Great location, walkable to local attractions. Poor drainage in women’s showers. Fridge in room not functional, unable to store food-which was unfortunate as food options onsite not available due to scheduling. TV not functional. Would love more hooks on walls for towels etc. Ultimately would stay again, enjoyed Hahei very much!"

"I had a fantastic stay at Te Aputa Lodge. It is truly a great property that offers a peaceful and comfortable getaway. Waking up to the nice sea view was a major highlight of the trip. Additionally, the entire place is perfectly well maintained, from the spotless rooms to the surrounding grounds. I would absolutely stay here again."

"The cottages are very spacious, beautiful and clean. Lodging is well located to all things Hahei. Parking was easy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Probably our favorite lodging in NZ. "

"A very special property. Personally loved it. Cosy rustic accomodation in an amazingly beautiful natural setting. Marc and Sasha were both excellent hosts and provided fantastic advice for our trip around the Coromandel."

"We had a really good stay. Clean, comfortable and view is great. Only minutes away from town. Host was friendly and helpful with recommendations as well."

"Amazing room and friendly hosts :)"

"Wir hatten ein gemütliches, ruhiges Familienzimmer im Albert No. 6 mit bequemen Betten. Die Lage war super, da wir nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß zum Buffalo Beach brauchten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen."

"Staff was friendly and nice. Free shovel for rent. Room was okay, access to balcony/ back yard, working heater! Bathroom was small and needed some upgrade."
