Good little place very close walk to the beach. Nice atmosphere and plenty of space in two bed apartment/cottage. Quiet even though right next to a couple of eateries and a shop. Very convenient location so we walked around. Fantastic beach. A couple spaces outside to eat your meals. One thing to note: bed is very very soft. One of the neatest places we have ever stayed. Loved it there. Close to a lot of outdoor sightseeing. Owner was a super fellow. Stores and resturaunts are very near by. I want to go back soon.

Beautiful cottage like vibe with backyard lounge chairs. Even had a shovel available for hot water beach. A very lovely place near cathedral cove. Would stay there again if I’m ever back in the area!

Enjoyed our stay at Tatahi Lodge. Hahei is a small town, and the lodge is convenient to the Cafes, the General Store and just a few minutes walk from the beach. Very quiet area. Room was clean and comfortable and felt good. Door and windows out to lovely garden area. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect location! Only 15mins walk to cathral cove view point, no need to take bus. Cafe n grocery shop only 1 min. Clean! Friendly staff! Free wifi n Neflex,too..I loved it!

Pros: great location, large apartment (we stayed in the 2 bedder), nice gardens, great toys/spade/games borrowing system. Cons: was quite expensive for what it is I thought, no servicing until day four which I didn’t realise until we got there, we had to ask for milk & tea, unfortunately (and this isn’t the operators fault but with the road and trail closures at the moment, it is hard to get to (not impossible but takes longer than you might think) plus the Cathedral Cove walk is shut so you can’t see it unless you go on a boat charter.

Property was just ok for the price. Was not cleaned to a high standard. Streaks on bathroom mirror, finger prints on TV, food from previous renter still on fridge, shag carpet in the living area in poor condition which gave us the heebee’s. And probably best if you clean your dishes/utensils before using.
