"Check in was quick as I completed pre-check in online. The property is on a quite street in the city mile. I had a junior suite which was a great choice, spacious and big bathroom with separate shower, toilet and bath, plus walk in wardrobe. Japanese toilet is a nice touch. "From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by lovely gentleman, who made the whole check in so fast and easy. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. This was not my first stay here, hence why we return again and again. Around the hotel you are in the centre, underground 2 minute walk away, lots of bars, restaurants right outside and shops 10minute walk away, a lively busy part of London, however from inside the hotel, you don't hear any noise from outside and to be fair, we did not notice or hear any noise from other guests. We really love this hotel and will return. So thankyou to all the staff, cleaners especially, our room was immaculate"

"The room and bathroom are small but clean. There are few facilities in the room (e.g., no tea or coffee). The bed was too soft for me but others will love it. The check in system needs review - I had to check in three times, which was frustrating (online ahead of arrival, then again at reception, only for them to then send me to a terminal for self-check-in)."

"This hotel is centrally located close to many of the main tourist attractions and the theatre district. All within walking distance. Booked a Superior Single room. Room was a decent size and had the usual amenities, iron, coffee maker, etc. No fridge or microwave. The bed is comfortable and the linen is soft. Bathroom just had a shower, no tub and toiletries were supplied. There is no bathroom door. The rooms don't have a standard layout so you could be staring straight into the bathroom from your bed. Finding your room was a challenge as the floors are a rabbit's warren of hallways and the room #s weren't laid out in a logical pattern. There is an digital sign at the elevator where you put in your room # and it shows you how to get to it. Daily housekeeping is provided but if you opt not to have this, you get a coupon for £7 off the breakfast buffet. They will then only clean your room every 4 days. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of hot and cold items. If paid the night before it's £15, otherwise it's £20 at the door. Traveled to Edinburgh for a few days and was able to store my larger suitcase while I was away until I returned for my last nights in London. I was very pleased with my stay and would book here again. Would recommend."

"I have stayed in many Citizen M Hotels around the world. I actually stayed in this hotel numerous times, some years ago. I was disappointed this time. I pay for a Citizen + yearly membership. Location is excellent. Air conditioning in our room was not very effective. I asked at reception for my room to be cleaned at 1pm to return at 11pm and the room had not been cleaned. Reception could not get access to towels. I had to wait for housekeeping to deliver. I just wanted to go to bed. Some areas need a refresh. Carpets in places are tired. Staff were pleasant."

"Room is small no space to keep the luggage. No body lotion found. Found dust around door corne. The shower area is quite small. Water leaks out of the shower area due to an inadequate shower screen. There is no power outlet near the bed for charging mobile devices. Overall experience is not that bad for couple of nights not great but ok."
