"Staff was friendly. The room was clean and not too cramped. One issue with the room was that the curtains didn't completely block out the sun in the mornings, they needed to be longer. Another was the lack of a USB outlet for a cellphone. Location was great, close to the train station and bus stop, pubs and restaurants were within minutes, while the beach was literally down the street 15 minutes away."

"View from the room was outstanding! Definitely worth visiting the hotel for this. Big comfy bed also. Location great on the seafront. Could hear noise from outside / other guests, but personally this didn't bother me. Hotel in general is tired around the edges, could do with a spruce up especially for the price you pay. Disappointing dinner in the restaurant - much better on offer in Brighton, would venture out. "

Fully enclosed large brick paved yard for dog safety.Welcoming prossecco on arrival. Old wood and brick built barn conversion, charming with interesting decorative features. Poynings village peaceful and aesthetic, with pub a few steps down the lane. Loved our stay and will definitely book again when in this area."
