"The breakfast was very good although my wife expected fresh grapefruit and cheese. Evening meal very good with excellent friendly service, however I had a very funny version of a prawn cocktail. Car parking excellent. Hotel very difficult to find but once driven fairly easy to navigate. Walked into town which was closer than we thought. Bedrooms small but warm."

"Lovely, spacious room, with balcony, which was pleasant. We stayed on the sixth floor and really enjoyed the peace, away from the crowds and kids! The wine and Welsh cakes were a nice touch too. Breakfast was good and staff members were all excellent - professional, helpful and friendly. A very relaxing stay."

"Nice rooms, easy parking. Have a night porter who was very helpful. Have stayed before and would be happy to stay again."

"Room small unclean and breakfast buffet offering was terrible. The location and price were good but they were the only positives."

"There was an issue at check in regarding our family room whereby the expedia booking info hadn't pulled through correctly to the hotel. I would recommend emailing the hotel after booking to reconfirm everything. The family room was a decent size, although towels were stained and the free mini's were half used. The pool facilities were lovely. The pool was a little chilly, but jacuzzi very nice and warm."

"Short 2 night stay for a business trip extremely close to the millennium stadium. Really nice hotel, well decorated and great service. Would certainly return"

"Can't fault the place really. The room was nice and spacious, comfortable bed with huge smart TV. Lovely views from outside. Breakfast was nice with lots of choice from full English, bakery, fruit and juices etc. Only bug bare was room service stops orders at 8pm. Not ideal if you fancy a little snack or dessert after dinner. Shop was limited. Spa was very relaxing. Great location. Overall I would recommend and stay again."

"Only stayed the one night but lovely room with everything you need."

"Excellent location, fabulous comfortable room, staff friendly professional and always willing to help. Have to mention young guy on reception sorry didn’t get his name, wore an orange tie, so kind and helpful also a guy dark hair/beard & glasses very kind & helpful, thanks very much"

"Short comfortable stay didn’t use the facilities"

"I’d booked for a room in the Queens Wing however was given a room in the Kings wing. The room was quite dated, the carpet was old and lots of wear and tear. The room and corridors were musty smelling. The reception and bar area have been refurbished since my last visit however the rest of the hotel still needs work!"

"Perfect place to stay."

"Good breakfast and helpful staff"

"Lovely room, great food and service brilliant!"

"Room was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast buffet was good."
