"We only stayed one night, the outside and the lobby and reception area were nice, the bar was nice. We waited about 10 minutes before any staff came to check us in, plenty of staff walked past until the queue got bigger! Then we got to the room!! It smelt of damp, the carpet was stained, there's was a damp patch above the broken wardrobe that had been painted over? The wardrobe door was hanging on broken hinges, the old sash window had no lock on, the door lock was a flimsy chain. The bathroom...

"Stayed in room 416. Our main problem was the heat. I asked for the heating to be turned off so we could sleep and she said it was on auto and would go off soon. (We found it difficult to sleep due to the temp of the room) it came on again early in the morning. We used 2 fans but could not stand the heat in the room. It was a relief to go down to breakfast and escape it"

"Comfortable and friendly, liked the spa pool and health suite . Not sure why the Christmas tree with lights was put up on weekend of 10 /11 October !"

"Loverly old property, they are keeping it in good order, we had a sea view which was brilliant."

"loved the outdoor bath, but disappointed you don't provide bubble bath for this nor have anything available for sale in reception"

"Lovely view"

"Gastropub on site, car park, convenience"

"Noisy ppl next door"

"Good for a night or two. Tired, empty large corridors. Walls are thin. But it's warm, and in a decent area"

"The room was ok but was not serviced daily. The heating only came on for around an hour in the morning and as it is October perhaps should have been a couple of hours at night. The staff were polite and friendly."

"House was fine, clean and tidy although the freezer had been defrosted and not cleaned so we had to complain about that. The pub has gone down hill, food not as good and expensive, alcohol is very expensive. The site no longer has any electric car charging stations which is frankly rubbish (nearest decent charger is at McDonalds 8 miles away and expensive), staff said they were damaged and decided not to replace them. We really like this site and will return but spend our money elsewhere."

"Had an excellent stay with a clean room and friendly staff. And a lovely continental breakfast."

"We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings"

"Loved our stay and would definitely recommend"

"Good location, really nice chap, would go again"

"We had a wonderful stay. Easy instructions, helpful host and a lovely room to stay in. Very clean and the bed was comfy. Blessed also with glorious weather in October!! The only point I’d raise was the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great but it worked and was hot!! Will definitely rebook!!"

"Stayed 1 night for work, ive tried about 5 other places in scarborough previously for work and I will definitely book again to stay here. Great value for money A lovely place."

"Really lovely beachfront property with a balcony over the beach. Check in was easy as was parking and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It’s a great location and the apartments are really nice. Would recommend."
