"Absolutely lovely cottage, clean, cosy and in the perfect location. We have had a great time. Very steep stairs inside the property and a fairly short bed so if you are super tall with mobility problems it might be difficult but for us it was perfect."

"Wow, what an amazing place to stay in Whitby. Foxton Penthouse was central for us to have coastal walks and to walk into town. The apartment was very modern and had everything we needed to make our stay go well. Once in town you can cross the bridge and walk up the 199 steps to the Abbey. Or get the hop on hop off bus. The costumes of people dressed up in Gothic clothes added to our stay. "

"When we arrived we received a warm welcome, Claire explained the parking process and all we needed to do. The bedroom was clean and comfy. We opted for breafast, what a good decision that was, it was delicious, one of the best full English breakfasts I have had, certainly filled us up ready for the day. A couple of evenings we popped into the bar for a drink, the staff were friendly and efficient. Would recommend Granby Hotel if visiting Whitby"
