"Lovely breakfast very good choice and no problem if you wanted porridge or scrambled eggs . Room good size overlooking the pool. Very clean and fresh towels every day. A nice stroll maybe 10 minutes into the centre of the town. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Would definitely return if we decide to go back to Jersey"

"We were in the cheapest room type so we weren't expecting a view but in fact we could see sideways across the bay and inland which was very green. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished with plenty of storage. It had two chairs and a little table which means you don't always have to sit on the bed. Teas, milks and biscuits were topped up daily which is by no means the case in all hotels. The breakfast was acceptable, some good additional choices can be ordered instead of the buffet. A fan...

"A lovely hotel right on the beach with fabulous views but somehow we were a bit underwhelmed. Maybe that everyone except the staff were 10-20 years older than us, maybe the decor needed updating, maybe the random fridge sitting right in the middle of the bedroom floor, maybe the fact that our 2 special occasions weren't acknowledged in any way... Staff were all wonderful without exception - proactive, friendly and helpful. Gardens were lovely and the outdoor pool is heated! Spa was great and...

"Staff were perfect. Location could not have been better. Room was as expected - maybe a little tired but housekeeping was to a high standard. Food was ordinary IMO, nothing to complain about but a little disappointing as they do boast about their buffet breakfasts and international evening offerings. Overall a good experience in a hotel with a fascinating history and charm."

Access to and from the car park onto the coast road awkward and poorly signposted. Just be mindful that the function room can be noisy over the weekend late into the evening and noise travels!!"
