"Very friendly staff who helped at the time when ferries were cancelled and I had to arrange my stay at the last minute. The room was a bit with strange odor."

"Its position and outlook, directly out to the sea, was excellent as was the attention of the staff. My single room was a little bit small, but adequate for my needs, however, the lack of a bedside table was inconvenient, there was too few coat hangers in the small wardrobe and there was no heating in the ensuite bathroom, because the towel rack only operated when the heating was on, not ideal. But, the manager did arrange a for a separate heater to be left in my room which was fine. I feel the meals could have been a bit more adventurous, especially for vegetarians. Overall, its a very pleasant hotel, with very good attentive staff and I would use it again .."

"Apartments are uphill (quite steep via some routes on foot) from the centre of St Helier, but for the averagely fit and mobile only 15 to 20 minutes walk. Very handy though for the 19, 5 and 5A Liberty Buses into town - just keep in mind that they are much less frequent at weekends and after 7pm. Also a Morrisons Local just a couple of minutes walk away. Apartment we were in had a super king size and single bed in upstairs bedroom - lots of storage space and cupboards up here (one on the landing). Bathroom has full-length but narrow-ish bath with shower over, a wash basin and WC. The shower has quite low water pressure so those used to power showers will be disappointed, and with the narrow bath and short shower screen you can’t do a full-on, elbows out soak, lather and rinse off - the bathroom floor would get very wet! Beds and other furniture comfortable and rooms nicely kitted out with main essentials. Also a laundry room on site - a charge for washing tabs and dryer tokens which are ordered through Morgan Hotels. Rooms clean, staff we saw on and off all very friendly and polite (and ready to help, asking if you needed anything). Free parking available on site but we’d no car as we realised at time of booking that you can get to most places by Liberty Bus. Kitchen had the essentials you need for self catering for up to 5 folk. Place suited the two of us perfectly."

"Staff were perfect. Location could not have been better. Room was as expected - maybe a little tired but housekeeping was to a high standard. Food was ordinary IMO, nothing to complain about but a little disappointing as they do boast about their buffet breakfasts and international evening offerings. Overall a good experience in a hotel with a fascinating history and charm."

"Hotel was immaculately clean, staff were super friendly, delicious breakfast and a good choice of evening meals. Lovely gardens, with a brilliant swimming pool and hot tub. Films and entertainment in the evenings. Although out of town, the courtesy bus and public buses were close and frequent. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the hotel."
