"The staff were amazing .Bonnetti restaurant was superb beautiful food and excellent service. We saw two top noch cabaret acts and breakfast was excellent. We would highly recommend the Merton for all ages. And we will return. "

"Staff are super friendly and helpful. Room cleaned every day. No air con but fans are provided. Large spacious family room with 1 double and 2 singles. Lots of clothes storage. Some of the furniture and decor is a bit tired. Room was a bit noisy from road below. No leisure facilities but were able to use the nearby Monterey which was also fabulous. Amazing roof terrace at the Royal. Bar food in both hotels was lovely and same friendly service in both. Would recommend. "

"My first time in this hotel in Jersey, the hotel, staff and room were all very good, the inclusion of a pool and adequate gym suited me for the 7 nights I was there. The weather was very warm and the garden space to relax was also a good addition. Breakfast was good and all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Recommended."

"Lovely big single room at good price. Nice breakfast. Amazing beautiful gardens, outside space and swimming pool. Shuttle into town or 40 min walk. Definitely coming back "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the quality of the service, cleanliness, bar, restaurant, food etc etc. The employees were great too. However, the hotel is not ideal for someone that has impaired mobility or uses a wheelchair, because of steps within the common parts of the building and does not have a lift to access the upper floors' bedrooms. Whilst we were there, some decoration works were commenced indicating a recognition for ongoing maintenance is constant. The hotel would benefit from replacing some carpeting in common parts."
