"Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. We were in a standard room and were very impressed by the comfort and quality - the photos don’t do the room justice! The bathroom was very modern and well maintained and the double bed very comfortable. There are a few hangers but otherwise not much space to unpack. We also enjoyed the amenities the hotel has to offer. We tried the restaurant twice for dinner and although it is a bit expensive, the food was an absolutely delicious fine dining experience....

"Nice small village next to water front. Signage to rooms and to the hotel can be better. Not the best location to catch northern lights though.. you face a big hill and all the action happens behind it. But overall good experience."

"Service was amazing - room was spacious and had everything you need. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend"

"Didn’t know that it included entrance ticket to vestahorn, 10/10 would stay again, and recommend others too. Breakfast was good too!"

"Everything at this hotel was great except the smell in our room. We were a group of 4 in 2 rooms and both rooms had what we thought was some ammonia cleaner smell. Even after we opened our windows for a while, this smell persisted."

"Very small room and bathroom. No elevator. Overpriced for what you get."

"The dinner at the hotel was excellent! And the breakfast buffet to start your day can't be beat. Excellent location if heading to Glacier Lagoon or Diamond Beach."

"Absolutely adored our time here. Very private forested location with excellent views of the lake. The rooms were well situated on the property and well appointed. The food served at the restaurant was delicious and top-notch. A short car ride to everything Egilsstadir and Seydisfjordur Fjord had to offer."

"Chambre propre , bonne literie , très calme . Bon petit déjeuner ."

"Pros - Very attentive staff. We missed breakfast window, but they provided us with food and coffee. Clean rooms. Parking in front of room. Cons - WiFi was not working."
