"The castle resort was perfect! Location is also amazing, with views of the actual seaside and the town. Perfect for couples, friends, and family! Uphill walking from the town or seaside could be challenging, but perfect for exercise and healthy living. There are taxis and buses available, but we chose to walk back and forth the town and seaside all the time because of the amazing views. "The welcome was amazing, the hotel is the home of the owner who makes a point of greeting his guests. It is a Victorian building of immense character in a stunning position on top of a headland and next to Tintagel Castle. The views are incredible. The room was spacious and comfortable with open sea views. The dining room is majestic and the saloon is comfortable victorian splender. Finally the staff were simply excellent. The one we stayed in had a really overpowering sewage smell coming from the bathroom, which would be ‘covered up’ with a lot of air fresheners after house cleaning.
