"The room was clean. Outdoor pool area is set up nice and gives people different spaces to relax. There is also 3.5 ft pool to take the little ones swimming. We did not purchase breakfast but had dinner at the bar two nights. The first night, I had chicken sandwich and smores martini. Very good. Second night, brussel sprout flatbeead. Not so good. I believe the kitchen closes at 9p. & bar closes at 10p. We stayed 2 nights, it is a good location for historic Charleston, Boones Hill Plantation and...

"Room was nice and clean. Too far to walk. Staff not congenial. Bar had really fine fish sandwiches."

"Amazing front desk staff. Wonderful maid staff. Breakfast was nothing to talk about. Beds super comfortable!! On the beach and so convenient. Definitely would stay again."

"We had a lovely 4 days rooms and bedding of the highest quality. Staff were always attentive and helpful. Love the coffee machines on each floor. Only demerit was that the coffee at breakfast was not to same high European coffee standard in the rooms. If you love coffee take your own to the restaurant.,"

"Restaurant was conveniently located and had great breakfast food."

"The room was very fresh and modern. The pool area and bar were lively and well maintained. The pool area, front desk and restaurant/bar staff were really pleasant. The cafe was overpriced for what was served and the cafe morning staff didn’t have much personality. But there are other coffee options nearby!"

"awesome location, very clean and new"

"Clean rooms food and entertainment within walking distance."

"Horrible staff"

"Location was fabulous. Best bartenders in town."

"Good Place, will stay at Moxy again in future"

"We enjoyed our 4 night stay and visit to Charleston. The Vendue staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given Champagne during registration which was a fun touch. Familiar faces were always there to greet us as we came and went. In the evenings, sherry and a sweet treat were available in the lobby. Every morning we had a goody bag with croissant and fruit. The only problem we had was the first night we didn’t get our room in the Enclave, but the 2nd night they moved us over and everything...

"We love Charleston Place! Our first time and will do it again and again! The lobby, the grand staircase, the staff, service, dining options, et al! Truly amazing all around!"

"Great location! However, the room is not being maintained. The walkway light outside our window could not be blocked by the blinds and there were no curtains. The walkway light switch did not function and resulted in a terrible night's rest...very bright. The headboard appeared filthy and the material was falling apart. It looked like it was pulled out of a dumptster...disgusting. The towel rack on the bathroom door appeared to have been partially removed sometime in the past. The floor was...

"La Quinta is known for its homie feel and warm cookies. This was anything, but that the bed was old and very uncomfortable. There was paint hanging from the ceiling over the bed. There were roaches in the bathroom. The breakfast never changed, and it was terrible. The eggs were watery and had no flavor. This felt more like a motel six than a La Quinta. I was very disappointed"

"Very nice and comfortable place to stay"
