"Great place for solo or couples, staff was helpful and even though I came early I was able to lock up my bags before my check in, bring cash for the added tax or just pay with card (extra fee). Rooms are pretty much sound proof, showers were open but private, room is straight to the point and there’s space under the bed for luggage, an open kitchen to heat up your convenience store finds. Around 20+ minutes walk to some nightlife and shopping! For me it was a bit hard to get a taxi but the city...

"Beautiful place to stay. Best feature was the iron outdoor tub! Full home with plenty of space. Step stairs. Two raised beds and two futons on the floor. Which were a little hard for me. And I love sleeping on a rock. But it didn’t matter at the end of a long walking day, a soak in the tub, sleep came Wally enough. Washer on site, no dryer, just a clothes rack which was very handy. Full fridge and microwave/airfyer. Nice fragrance bath soaps. Small shower room. But nice and hot water....

"Beside the leaking ceiling, the room was nice. I was upgraded and also the staffs were extremely kind and thoughtful. Gave me a welcome gift while during the stay and it was nice to see child hood snacks at the front. Decoration and the atmosphere were very nice. Over all lived my stay and would come back 20/10."

"Loved this hotel, great location and lovely interior and comfortable beds. Free drink at the bar was an added bonus whilst you relaxed after a long days sightseeing"

"Excelente instalaciones. Personal muy atento. Muy bien ubicado"

"Great hotel, great location (close to the subway stop, many restaurants and train station). Staff was extremely helpful. Would 100% recommend!"

"Es un lugar increíble para hospedarse, muy tradicional y bonito, además el personal es muy amable. Sin dudas una experiencia que vale la pena vivir al conocer Japón!!"

"Everything was great here! It was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, calming, and peaceful. The house was stalked with all the amenities and the staff was amazing. It was so worth it!"

"They had a crib for my daughter which was super helpful. The staff was kind and also very helpful. My only complaint was that the room had a musty smell to it. Overall though, I would still recommend it to others because it was a great place to go with a baby."

"鄰近巴士站方便前往京都站轉車；亦有7-eleven便利商店，方便購買日用品及夜消！ 客房整潔及空調系統夠涼快！職員友善有禮！ 建議多加枕頭數目及設軟/硬頸枕和枕頭更佳！"

"Quiet and spacious"

"Very clean, professional staff,"

"Amazing 10/10 service, staff are beyond nice and welcoming and made everything such a comfortable stay. Also everytime we called for something to our room it literally would take 1 minute to come!!"

"Such a great hotel. Had washing machine in the room. Lovely staff so so nice and sweet. Right across temple that we can enter for free and very close to Kyoto station as well. Great location and overall very clean. I do recommend 11/10 I loved this stay"

"La ubicación está genial, excelente servicio, sin dudarlo volvería a hospedarme."

"I stayed in the Shin room and this place is amazing. The room was very clean and beautifully presented. Great location from the station but still nice and quiet. Staff were very helpful and supportive. Especially with temple recommendations. Breakfast was a great experience. So was having a traditional Japanese bath which after a long day of exploring was definitely needed. Great food and tea. A real Ryokan experience staying here - highly recommend for those coming to Kyoto."

"Heel gezellige ryokan uitgebaat door een zeer vriendelijke familie. Enkel werden de kamers niet opgemaakt en hadden we geen ontbijt (voor ons geen probleem voor 1 nacht). Mooie onsen voorzieningen met leuk uitzicht. Zeker de moeite."

"The shower was large and spacious! The stone bath was amazing too! I loved all the amenities and the fine details. Definitely worth the price"
