"We had a great time! Beautiful room with great amenities! Onsen in balcony was the best thing. Room service was on point and all the staff were very attentive and very very nice! On the way back home on a rainy day one of the female staff kindly came outside and helped me carry suit case in taxi. She kindly told me to get in the car first because it’s raining and she said she will take care of suit case. I am very pleased with this Omotenashi service and I have so much respect and appreciation....

"This was a unique property to stay at for our Japan trip. The property was beautiful and was definitely an experience I recommend. Staff was so helpful when first arriving. They try their best to explain things, especially with a language barrier for myself. The hospitality was exceptional. Would recommend anyone to stay here. A little far of a walk from the main station with luggage so maybe a take a taxi. And have them take you to the check-in area instead of the property itself."

"We are at this Machiya on our recent holiday to Kyoto. The host Yuki introduced the place to us and we got to make macha together. It was a lovely place to stay and the outdoor bath was really nice especially as it is winter time now. It is located near Kyoto station and Gojo station. We also had the traditional breakfast which was delicious. Overall we were glad we picked this place for our stay at Kyoto and would highly recommend it!!"

"This hotel was a blend of a great location that was also very quiet since you are staying across the street from a huge temple. The staff at the front desk made sure we had everything we needed and the added bonus of the onsite onsen (very clean) was wonderful after long days exploring winter days in Kyoto. "I definitely enjoyed my at the Rinn Horikawa Gojo, the room was very spacious for three people and everything was very clean. The staff was also very nice, helpful, and English friendly. The hotel also provided us to do laundry, which is definitely a plus. The location of the hotel is very convenient, there is a bus stop right in front of the entrance and a 7/11 just a few minutes away by walking.
