"Receptionists were extremely helpful. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices Overall 8.5/10."

"Close to the bar and restaurant"

"Great property in a really convenient location. Right near the tram stop. Would stay again."

"Space to walk, restaurants, gym and pool. Lovely environment"

"Couldn’t fault a thing about The Rees! The accomodation was fantastic as was the staff and food. The shuttle bus that takes you into the heart of Queenstown was really handy as well. Will definitely stay there again on our next visit."

"Great hotel to stay in. Its a little old but none the less a great hotel. The guy at the bar was really great and gave wonderful service. Would stay again."

"Exceptional. This hotel completely redefines what a five-star experience should be. It makes you rethink all the previous five-star review you've given simply because nothing went wrong. Hulbert house sets the standard, and few others deserve to be in the same category. Staff are always keen to help and would put in a lot of nice touches. "The property is beautiful! However, if you are touring NZ during the day, you will miss using all of the amenities. The coffee store opens at 10. Breakfast is served starting at 8 am. Cheese shop and wine bar close at 6. We missed it all! This is a spa destination for New Zealanders, not a place for tourists."

"Had a great stay Awesome staff"

"There were leftovers in the cups and pot, and we waited more than 1.5 hours for cleaning. The staff were unprofessional: one staff member forgot my name two hours after check-in and then knocked on our door. There is no shelf/platform to hold the shampoo and conditioner, so they had to be placed on the shower base. The bathroom fan is noisy. Soundproofing is poor—when the neighbor was washing, we could hear it. Overall, it was a bad experience."

"Very conveniently located, equipped with everything I needed, clean and great view of the lake."

"Spire Hotel was an absolute delight! The location is fantastic, catering to both city dwellers and outdoor enthusiasts. The room was superb, offering a beautiful view, comfort, and cleanliness. The breakfast was simply amazing, and the staff treated us with exceptional personal attention and genuine friendliness."

"no useful amenities were in the room, no basic ! door was hard to lock. small room, not great. staffs are nice but feels like not open to help."
