"I stayed for one night while visiting my daughter at Chichester University and had hoped to find a hotel I could use regularly, but I will not be returning. The website says parking is available, but the hotel car park was difficult to find, extremely small and full. After a 2½-hour drive, I had to navigate a very busy town centre to find alternative parking, all of which was chargeable. The limited parking needs to be explained much more clearly before booking. I arrived at 2.30pm, but my...

"Staff were lovely"

"A lovely gem in the country. Great for walker. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our room and it was sorted - no fuss. The food was excellent and great selection for breakfast. Well worth a visit. 👍"

"Great location to explore town. Staff were most welcoming. Cosy, clean, double room (some road noise/light from window). Fantastic cooked breakfast with proper barista coffee. Would stay again."

"Beautiful rooms, I've never seen so many light switches and sockets to plug into ! let down by poor maintenance on the bathroom doors, which didn't close due to not fitting in the frame by a few cm! Maybe they were just being installed, but not great when you can't close the door. We had a very fancy fan, but would be cautious booking without air-con in the hotter times. Breakfast was good ! proper bread, and a chef who can cook eggs without them being snotty or hard boiled ! Room had...

"Staff and quiet place"

"Quiet and well appointed room. Great breakfast."

"It was close to Cosham"

"Location not in walking distance of anything such as stores or railways. Short drive to Portsmouth Harbour. Quiet area."

"Cosy little cottage in lovely area. Comfy beds, good shower and great pub food."

"Friendly reception staff. Booked a pet friendly room and was given a double room on the third floor. Nice sized room, plenty of space. Room was quite warm when we arrived but temperature controls worked well and we cooled it down quite quickly. All the usual amenities- tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, shampoo, body wash. Bed was fairly comfortable- pillows were awful - flat and lumpy. I did find extra pillows in the wardrobe the next day but only stayed one night so...
