"Warning this property is not pet friendly. I booked it because it was advertised as such and spent an hour on the phone with Expedia after my arrival only to be locked out of my hotel rooms and have to drive 3.5 hours back home the same night. "

"There was a major remodel going on but my room was quiet, and clean. I was pleased to find a large apartment sized refrigerator freezer in the room instead of the typical dorm size. There was an elevator which is a must for me if more than 1 floor. They advised breakfast but there was nothing but coffee, this is the only thing I ding them about. Convenient to restaurants though."

"The kitchen staff was fabulous! The food was great, the staff worked to keep everything fresh and plentiful. Parking was safe and sufficient."

"The staff was great! The room was ok. Double beds in rooms make it difficult for 2 adults in one bed. Room does not have a mini fridge. Carpets are awful, dirty and need replacing. Cleanness was hit and miss. Beds and towels were clean or new. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Pool area clean but needs wall repair. Breakfast was the typical inexpensive continental breakfast. A few restaurants within walking distance. Location is good for, Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and Water country. Overall price was fair for the stay."

"Greatest amenity is that you are right in the middle of the historic district. Waking up there is wonderful despite early mowing and leaf blowing (so that it’s not done during open hours to preserve historic experience). Being able to park there."

"Although the hotel is quite dated, it was extremely clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and provided everything we needed. The one negative was the air con unit was quite noisy. Other than that I would definitely recommend to others. The location in respect to Williamsburg was excellent and a pleasant walk into the town itself."

"I bought a room for my wife and son. when they checked in the hotel wouldn't give them a room without first talking to me on the phone... 1. I didn't like this, the room was paid for. 2. how does the hotel know who was on the phone? if it was a fraud, how would they know. seems pretty dumb to me. no problem, we will not be going back."

"Dinner at the inn was excellent. Wonderful location to everything Williamsburg village. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. "

"Room and property was very clean and quiet and in very good shape. Slightly confusing with many buildings so took a little bit to figure out where you were. Walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg and lots of shops and restaurants. Keurig coffee in the room which was nice but any more than that you need to walk to the lobby coffee shop."
