10/10 Excellent

"As notified in advance, pool and hot tub were unavailable due to maintenance. No problem for us. Our room had a window leak (rain) and water was pooling on top of the AC unit inside the room. Fortunately, this was noticed and reported to the front desk within a short time of being in our room. We were quickly given another room. Much appreciated response. Good breakfast choices. Weak coffee."

Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack

6/10 Okay

"Breakfast was wonderful. Casino was fun but couldn’t stay long as I wanted too . It was just too cold . Too much air conditioning. Staff was good. Could’ve used a table in our room. Since it was too cold to stay in the casinos. We tried to play dominoes and cards difficult. The buffet was awful. Chicken overcooked . Roast beef prime rib was horrible.if it Hadn’t been raining we would have left to go out and find a place to eat."

"I have to start with how impressed I was with this hotel. Usually this chain doesn't impress, but this hotel really did. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. They have a nice indoor pool and spa, a hotel bar that opens around 6:30PM and a nice breakfast that closes a little early but it was good. The room I had was perfect for what I needed and the price was right!!!"

Suburban Studios Triadelphia - Wheeling at The Highlands

"Staff is super pleasant. Our beds were very clean & comfortable. The floor in the room could have been vacuumed better but no big deal. Microwave & refrigerator worked well and were clean. Coffee in lobby was always full, fresh and hot. We would stay here again."

"To start off our trip we got nailed with a $75 room hold on my debit card and then we got to the room which smelled awful, splatter markings all over the lamp shades, loose outlets in bathroom, window that doesn’t lock on 2nd ground floor and then a dog barking from inside the hotel into the evening."
