The first room was not up to par, it was dirty and the bathroom was not clean. The front desk moved us to a different room that was better. They were very welcoming for pets. We at the on site restaurant and the food was very good.

We came to enjoy the pool during spring break with our two small kids and found so much more to explore! We live a little over an hour away in the downtown Pittsburgh area. Great food (we are at Trace and Skyline), friendly staff, great breakfast sandwich + good coffee at the coffee shop! We loved the zoo so much that we visited twice - we paid for the extra animal experience at the zoo the first day we went, hours were a little short so this took up most of our visit, but was worth EVERY penny for the kids!! We loved how extended the indoor pool hours were, esp cause that was the #1 request from the kids! Lots of beautiful outdoor space too! We can’t wait to come back in full summer to enjoy the outdoor pool and for the Christmas lights!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Oglebay Resort. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, with plenty to do for families and couples alike. The atmosphere is relaxing and feels like a true getaway, especially with the scenic views and outdoor spaces. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. While some areas could use minor updates, the overall experience was excellent and we would definitely return

Wonderful place for Christmas that feels like a Christmas Hallmark Moive. Cozy areas with multiple fire places. Lots of families. It's our annual family tradition to visit in December for the holidays.

My boyfriend and I stayed 2nights here this past week. This place exceeded our expectations and more. The resort itself was fantastic! The outside blew us away. All the beautiful greenery and lighting. The staff was superb! We met Jerry who checked us in and he was a hoot!! We love him, we also got to say goodbye to him as we were checking out. Any staff we came in contact with was ao friendly and always willing to help. We had lunch at Skyline kitchen and Bar located on the resort, this place is beautiful our food was fantastic! Our waitress Debbie was so sweet and she made our dining experience incredible thank you. Our room was clean ,bed was very comfortable!! It was everything we needed for our getaway! We will definitely be returning!! Thank you all!! Dont hesitate to book this place!

We were very pleased with our clean nicely equipped room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The weather was very cold so we couldn't do much outside, but it is an unusually cold, snowy February. Food at Skyline Kitchen and Bar was good and there's a nice view from the windows. Trace Chophouse was a disappointment...quite expensive, and the food was not worth the price.

Breakfast buffet was wonderful and included made to order eggs, which were fantastic. My wife and I really enjoyed the steakhouse called Trace. In fact, we ate there twice. A little bit pricey, but worth it. As for our room, it was fantastic. We even had our very own fireplace, which was most romantic. This is an awesome resort for a little getaway.

Check in was a breeze and since we were traveling with our pup, she made sure we had a courtyard room. Very clean and staff was friendly. We had the dinner buffet which was delicious and enjoyed the complimentary hot coca and music. Of course the Festival of Lights was fantastic! We will be back.
