"The room was spotless and all members of staff were friendly and accommodating. Child friendly. Happy hour at the Lure Bar was fun, with one exception. Reservations in the bar should not be allowed. Two prime spots were left empty. We were not the only customers disappointed by this. The view from the hotel was lovely. Walking distance to downtown an added bonus. We’d go back!"

"Friendly and professional staff. Room was clean. We didn't let the cleaning staff make up our room until we left (we stayed 4 nights), but they were always smiling in the hallways. Food from the cafe was good and reasonably priced. Food from Fathom was tasty (we ordered takeout). Only complaint was the indoor swimming pool. It was freezing for our young kids. We asked if there was any way to warm it up a degree or two but the staff at the pool said there was nothing they could do. It was colder than lukewarm. Hot tub and sauna were enjoyed."

"Chose this hotel for my birthday. 10/10 would recommend. Wonderful service, beautiful rooms, great view. The staff truly go above and beyond to make your experience one to remember. The amenities are fantastic, and the towels are the thickest, most luxurious ones I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The robes are second to none. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Victoria. "

"SO LOUD outside of hotel! ZERO soundproofing! Was so peed and stressed and asked in advance for quiet and got street side! I barely slept and one of my worst sleeps ever. I tried everything to draw out the noises of such idiots outside til 230 am. Was on a move help job and hard to not sleep much and have to drive a big moving truck back to Kelowna area this way. Come on! Finally sound proof the hotel then! It was also told to me this am early that so many leave hotel when this happens and no refunds! Exactly told to me. JUST FIX! "
