"We enjoyed our night at The Abbey Hotel and spending time in Bury St. Edmunds. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Access to car park is very tight especially for larger cars. It is an old building matched by the furnishings etc. which did make it feel a bit like a care home in places! The en-suite in our room could do with some tlc and the toilet seat definitely needs a deep clean or replacing. Hubby enjoyed his breakfast, mine not so much as the eggs were overcooked.
