"Host was very welcoming and made the stay easy & comfortable. Very rural and basic facilities but charming, relaxing in its own way. Breakfast was well cooked and delicious. I would stay again. "

Beautiful architecture especially Ely Cathedral is breathtaking. The locals are friendly and very helpful. There are restaurants by the river and the food is delicious. The staff are very friendly and polite too.

Ely is a lovely little City with a most wonderful cathedral. The centre is alive with cafes and eateries. Walk the river too, a most enjoyable treat with lovely restaurant's and bars to spend a little time at

Ely is well worth a visit. It is also a good base to visit the surrounding area given its well served train station. We had day trips by train to Kings Lynn (which is very interesting) and to Cambridge.

We will be returning to Ely in the next few months to see more of the town
"Hotel itself was excellent. Problem was hotels.com which said that that hotel was wheelchair accessible, but was not clear that the rooms which we booked were not accessible. Despite booking several weeks in advance the hotel was only advised of special requirement (wheelchair access) on the day of our visit, by which time all wheelchair accessible rooms had been taken."
