1. Villa Marina

2.1 km from Babbacombe Model Village and Gardens

"The Villa Marina is run by two of the most wonderful people you could ever meet. Vince and Erwan were amazing hosts who would do anything to ensure you had a wonderful stay. The hotel is super clean, the breakfasts ensured lunch may not be required! A location not far from the sea or town centre and an overall lovely atmosphere. Their knowledge of the local area was well received by everyone which helped guests make the most of their time in Torquay. I can’t thank them enough for making my stay...

"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."

"Staff were very pleasant and helpful; the hotel is well situated and close to lots of places, so a good base if you are visiting the Torbay area. Breakfast was good and it’s well organised so no problem getting a table. The room was good - we had a balcony which was 3 times bigger than our room 😁. "Parking is good you can park.outsude the property free of charge. Staff friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy but compact. The shower was very small and the door was difficult to. close and open once inside It. The bed was too soft and kept moving away from the wall. The room was very hot even with the window open which made it difficult to sleep. However, the breakfast was very good. It was a buffet with my favourite tinned tomatoes an option. Also there was a proper toater"
