"Nice friendly staff Room visibly dirty around skirtings and hair which wasn’t mine in bathroom Stained grout on all tiles No hot water in morning for shower but quickly rectified by reception"

"Clean room, helpful staff. Good breakfast options"

"Very clean hotel, nice beds, spacious rooms and bathroom. Nice breakfast. Couldn’t fault the stay at all"

"Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was okay - the full English I felt was a bit small for what I paid but other hot options looked pretty good - would consider that next time and the continental breakfast was good. Staff were lovely."

"Generic but convenient. Served our needs for visiting the area. The bar was a bit bland and expensive. The coffee could have been better at breakfast. Staff at reception were excellent. As someone who drinks a lot of water I also appreciated the water fountain."

"Breakfast excellent as always I think the mattresses need upgrading or replacing but I’ll still say the best hotel In Newcastle"

"Clean rooms, decent gym, and 5 min walk from the train station. Highly recommend."

"Don’t sleep a wink as it was terribly noisy as the students were out all night and it was raining so something was dripping very loudly just outside the window"

"Diddn't use parking or spa but hotel was very convenient for the city centre. Dining room a bit cold. Excellent choice at breakfast and evening meals tasty."

"Superior room very spacious and decent spec."

"40 minutes waiting to order room service before I give up and ordered from elsewhere, plenty of staff, just walking around and not dealing with the other guests waiting to order."

"Room and hotel were very clean and modern. Our room was quite noisy throughout the night. Service was slow as there were not many staff on duty. Especially considering there were 2 sold out shows at Utilita while we were there. Wife felt unsafe as she was verbally abused by a drunk guest within earshot of reception and no one stepped in to help or offer assistance. Will absolutely not be going back."
