"The room was clean and cosy with a window that overlooked both the hills and the sea. It was quiet and I slept really well. The reception staff and housekeeping staff were polite and welcoming. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, the staff in the breakfast room were helpful and replenished items quickly when they had run out. The hotel is on the north promenade and the walk into the town centre is pleasant."

"Really nice hotel We had a twin room and the single bed were nearly double beds, and very comfortable. The air con was very welcome when 33 degrees outside Great buffet breakfast, everything you could want Had a meal one evening Fantastic burger Excellent stay Would definitely stay again if in the area"

"Booked our stay at the Royal Victoria Hotel for the purpose of hiking up Snowden. This was a great choice as the hotels location was ideal, being a few hundred yards from the start of the Llanberis path. The hotel itself was very clean, staff super friendly, and the room met our needs. Car parking wasn't a problem as the car park has ample space, and as previously mentioned, is a stone throw from the start of the path we would take to the summit. Eating was good, choice of the restaurant or simply eat in the bar area with all the usual choices you'd expect, fish and chips, steak, pies or vegetarian options. Buffet style breakfast served from 7am, with plenty of choices to suit most people. Overall really happy with our stay, and will be returning in the future. A defiant for hikers or even folk wanting a quiet scenic get away, recommended!"

"Our sea view room was clean and spacious. The bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable though. The bathroom was clean. Could do with a couple of armchairs in the room rather than wooden ones but we didn't spend a lot of time in the room as we were out and about most of the time. The breakfasts were good with a good choice to suit most people. We've been to the grand now about 8 times now and have honestly never had any real issues. Looking forward to our next visit."

"Room clean with everything you need , bathroom too hot couldn’t turn towel rail off ,could do with more privacy blinds all over cabin .All staff brilliant and informative especially young lad who served you tea at breakfast and a special thanks to Linda front of house at breakfast she was very welcoming,and a lovely lady would definitely stay again a hidden gem.Sports bar great .Taxi to Rhyl £14 phone Burts taxis"
