"All rooms are upstairs but there is an elevator. We found the young lady at the desk to be polite and she was very helpful. We had two rooms, one with ensuite. The only issue we had was the shower door would not shut correctly. Their were tv's in both rooms but air-con only in our ensuit room. Both rooms has a jug,tea,coffee ect and a our room had a small refrigerator. The main dining and kitchen area was really big, clean, with all you needed to cook meals ect. There was milk,coffee,tea ect...
"Clean stay but not great for overseas travellers who need bedding provided. We had no idea that bedding wouldn’t be included and needed to “upgrade” to a smaller room with fewer beds but had blankets."
"This is a heritage building so does not have a modern fit out. They have maintained the charm of the time of building without letting it look rundown.
The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent (especially the complimentary continental breakfast!)"
"No issue with the property itself, they are renovating so good things to come I am sure.
The only issue I had was the shower was not hot enough. It was a cold morning in Putaruru, and I really wanted a nice steaming hot shower, but sadly it just wasn't hot enough."

"🌺Notre chambre était parfaite et propre. En hiver bonus la lampe qui chauffe dans la SDB qd tu sors de la douche✨les proprio ont bien prit soins de nous de part leur petit geste par ci par là. Nous avions un coin comma un cuisine tout équipé et opérationnelle ainsi que BBQ que nous avons eu de la chance d’utiliser. AU TOP le spot proche de toutes commodités. Nous recommandons++++ merci 🌞"

"This property is in a great location for travel between Wellington and Auckland. Easy dining options within walking distance but no on site food options. Spacious room with excellent in-room amenities for short or long stays"
"We ended up leaving. It stunk there was moldy food in top of oven. No smoke alarms. We were actually disgusted. Windows were dirty. We didnt want to make a scene so said we had to leave for family matters. Would not recommend this place infact no smoke alarms is a major health and safety breech. Never be back."
