"The staff was great! At first appearance things looked and smelled clean. I just noticed some dust on the baseboards and on the lamps but only because I was with my 2 year old and was at some weird angles picking things up. Clean towels and bedding, and the bed was comfortable! Overall I would definitely stay here again."
"Restaurant was very good, rooms kinda dated, but it is still best place to stay in Owen Sound. THat said Owen Sound is in desparate need of a modern hotel."
"I like that the property was right next to the road I needed to get to Sauble Beach. I also liked that there was a Foodland almost directly across the street, where I was able to buy some food at a decent price.
The hotel would benefit from having more flyers and details about things to see and do in the area."
"Great little hotel in Owen Sound. Highly recommend if visiting Georgian Bay: Bruce Peninsula. Complimentary breakfast options include bagels , yoghurt, fruit and cereals."
"We greatly enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. Everything was clean and modern - The room and lobby were very nice. In the morning, we enjoyed their breakfast, which had an impressive variety of items. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and would totally recommend it to others."
"The 1st room assigned smelled very musty, and we were moved, but then there were very few electrical outlets. There were no electrical outlets in the bathroom, and only 1 very small bathroom mirror. For the price charged, I have to say I wouldn’t stay there again."
"The room was ok but doesn't feel like a motel and also the hallway was was smelling terrible it was like the you are living among bunch of homeless people"
"Too many spiders in the rooms, bad smell, rooms not clean , if you love stay with spiders must visit this place. Service not good. Really bad experience we ever had."
