"Shops nearby were helpful. Super close to a big Macy’s that had food options and in walking distance of a Trader Joe’s. The pool was under maintenance while we stayed which we were not informed about before hand. That was disappointing. "

"Very disappointing stay. We paid almost $300 per night for a supposed four-star hotel, but the experience felt closer to a motel. The hotel is under renovation, yet this was not clearly disclosed. The property is dusty, noisy, and filled with a strong chemical smell. Our “renovated” room was dark, the bathroom outdated, and the windows and carpets dirty. The restaurant also felt unclean. Another issue was the misleading “breakfast included” option during booking — in reality, breakfast was extra. Because the reservation was final sale, we were stuck. Otherwise we would have left immediately. The two stars are only for the hardworking cleaning lady and the helpful bellboy who assisted us with renting bikes. There are much better options in the area. I would not recommend this hotel."

"Yes this is a touristy area. But you go tell the sea lions, gulls and fishermen that. They dont care! Easy ubers, trolly, waterfront walking and up the hill from here is not horrible. "
