"I chose the Cromwell Arms because of the ground floor rooms as my friend uses a walker and cannot manage stairs. We were both delighted with the room, the dining options and the wonderful staff - they were so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. It is very close to the town centre, so we were able to go into Romsay easily and quickly - excellent."

"Lovely little spot to stop over for the night - nice evening meal (ham, egg and chips), followed by a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. Comfy bed. Nice and tidy room - only issue was I’m 6ft and couldn’t really stand up in the bath fully for a shower ……….. maybe a check first of the persons height and if the room is right for them?"

"Parking charge of £10 is unnecessary and should be included with room booking. Fire alarm went off 3 times as a false alarm which meant going up and down the stairs with luggage and kids as lift stopped working. The room with 2 double beds was spacious and clean The staff are great though. Particularly the lady that was on reception evening of 6 June kind and helpful. The waitress and waiter in the restaurant that evening were great too. Although the restaurant was quite busy they remained...
