"Lovey hotel. We went for an afternoon tea gift. Which was amazing. Everything baked in house. We made a weekend of it with an overnight stay. Staff very very friendly and nothing too Much trouble. Location is wonderful with a couple of good walks.
Rooms very clean and homely. Food very very good. You really do feel spoilt. "
"Stayed again at the venue but this time midweek the only small criticism I have is that they chose not to do filter coffee jugs at breakfast which was disappointing as was very welcome at the weekend when clearly more guests were staying. I would however suggest just keeping one jug on the go in mid-week would have been nice"
"I checked in on an incredibly hot day when the air conditioning wasn't working as it should. The lady at reception moved my room without being asked to make sure the room I was checked into had air con. When I got to my room, it had clearly been prepared with the heat in mind - the curtains were closed against the direct sunlight and a fan was running - the room was lovely and cool, a nice reprieve from the heat outside. Staff are polite and incredibly helpful. "

"Loved the room, it was a comfy bed and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were helpful, chatty and very welcoming. We had breakfast most days and lunch on the day we didn’t in the pub downstairs and Alex even remembered what sauce we liked! "The moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed with the outstanding beauty of the countryside and with the quality of the hotel which was also very spacious. We felt very pampered by the facilities provided. Maria in charge of the breakfast showed unprecedented professionalism and was very welcoming.
I would have liked to have seen a few seats scattered around outside, other than just by the clubhouse. Nevertheless we will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff."
