"We decided to start our holiday early and stay at the Stansted Airport Lodge before our 7am flight the following morning.
We didn't arrive at the hotel until about 10pm but were we greeted at reception by a friendly and helpful staff member and shown to our room.
The room was basic but spacious and you could see the airport from one of the windows.
We weren't there long as we left at 4:30am but we did have a few hours sleep in a comfortable bed.
We would stay here again if we had an early flight...

"A gorgeous find near Stansted Airport. Short walk to the hotel from Stansted Mountifitchet Station - 10 minutes maximum depending on pace. This place has more of a gastro pub dining with rooms feel to it. Rooms are beautiful. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was top notch, amazing Fillet Steak with Blue Cheese Sauce - small menu but all looked lovely. Good draught beers and cocktails looked really good! Options to get to Stansted are taxi if leaving early - around 10 mins and a normal...
