Booked because the plane was arriving so late at night & wanted a nights sleep before having to drive home. Later realised that hotel didn’t have 24 hour check in so if plane was delayed we wouldn’t be able to check in. Booked another hotel instead. Very annoyed that a hotel describing itself as an “airport” hotel does not make this clear up front.

It was... almost all right. People over the phne friendly and lovely. Place... well, poor. No way around it - its poor, dirty. It was priced accordingly, but yes - by far the worse we tried. Would I use again? In company of 3 mates and 2 bottles - possibly. With my lady - no, I think I wouldn't. It actually was less than enough. Very sorry (hate leaving bad reviews, especially when staff nice), but this really was a poor place. I suggest to spend 20 quid more on something else.

The property was in good condition and the bedroom was perfectly OK. The young Asian man who booked us in was very pleasant and helpful when a small problem arose. Unfortunately he enterprise seems to have gone downhill as there was no restaurant as advertised and the Wi-Fi did not work, even we were given the "correct" login details for the router. Handy for the airport though!

Friendly staff, helpful stuff, easy check-in, not very clean, cold water, not able to have a shower in the evening or morning due to no hot water!!!!.…. Good location for Stansted airport.

was ok...

i was staying one night for stansted airport the next morning. the welcome inside and information regarding local taxis was great. the room was warm enough, but the only major complaint i have was the shower. the was ICE COLD FREEZING :( no hot water at all. by the time i went to have a shower it was an hour before i had to leave for the airport and no one was there to help. unless you like cold showers, make sure to have a hot shower at home before staying or flag up to staff immediately. don't wait like i did.

Awful

There was no hot water in the bathroom and no heating in the room. Reception said they dont know of any kind of fault and did not attempt to remedy it except to say "keep running the jot tap". After 15 minutes, it was still cold. There were silverfish in the shower cubicle

Job done.

Arrived very late, flight delays and then a road closure forcing a substantial detour. Thankfully my room card had been left out with a useful note and I was able to access the room. It was cold, no curtains, and couldn't figure out the heating but the bed was warm and that was all I cared about! Shower okay in the morning, Job done. Thanks.

Good value for money

Can't complain for the price. I was just looking for a cheap hotel near stansted before catching my plane and it did the job perfectly. Its really close to the airport and there is a bus right next to the hotel....definitely recommend.

Convenient location in close proximity to Stanstead airport. The 508 bus is handy to be dropped off within 100yds and get back to the airport again. Room info needed updating as no dining options. TV signal was hit and miss and my shower was leaking. However, I would use this place again due to convenient location and reasonable price.

If I could give no stars I would. Please give this dive a swerve. It’s dirty, advertised it has a restaurant but hasn’t and there are only non speaking immigrant staff who are not happy to help!!

Good location but very limited evening bus service from the airport. The 308 arrives at the airport from Great Dunmow at about 21.20 and returns immediately to Takeley, before going out of service. My driver was prepared to take me to Takeley Street / Stansted Airport Lodge as it was on her way back to the depot. This bus isn't shown on any of the airport timetables.
