"A great hotel (specious room) in a very convenient location with many dining options. Easy access to commute (buses tram and MTR) within short walking distance. I would strongly recommend it."

"Really enjoyed our stay at The Emperor Hotel. The hotel was located at a very convenient spot for us; a very comfortable walking distance to Causeway Bay and Wan Chai station. Getting to Ocean Park by bus was quick and convenient too. The room was comfortable, had AC and sockets were placed conveniently beside the beds (including plug sockets and USB plug ins). The bathroom sink consisted of a hot tap and cold tap making it easy to use; a non slip mat for the shower was also a plus. Despite us not having breakfast and leaving the hotel/starting the day sporadically during our stay, it never ceased to amaze me how on track the housekeeping was. We were never disturbed and always came back to a nice and clean room. The view was also magnificent and was particularly pleased with the ceiling (close to) floor window. The beds were very comfortable and the staff at reception were nice and helpful with queries. The only downsides were the fridge in the room was not cold and the room overall was slightly cramped. Despite this, I will definitely be booking with The Emperor Hotel again during my next Hong Kong stay. "

"The front desk was ok. However the conditions of the room were horrible. There were scratches all over the furniture and the window was very dirty. The room was musky and honestly looked like a motel room."

"The hotel was really busy during our stay. The staff is nice, helpful. There is some construction in front of the hotel & some other hotels nearby are closing down, didn’t feel safe walking at night. My last 2 nights, I believe I got some bed bugs, my legs were full of red bumps & itchy. I did complain at the checkout this morning, they took photos of my legs & said they will investigate. I just told them that the room need to be fumigated so next person will not have same problem. "

"Our stay was disappointing due to poor maintenance and cleanliness. The bathroom was mouldy, and a leak from the shower kept the floor constantly wet. Our first room had no hot water late at night, forcing us to pack and move to another tower just to shower. While we were moved the next day, the staff's attitude was dismissive. Housekeeping was also below par; the carpet was dirty, and we found hair in the bathtub upon arrival. Furthermore, amenities like the mirror and bathroom door lock were broken. Overall, the maintenance is not what you’d expect from a hotel at this level."

"AVOID! Shockingly poor service and weathered rooms! I am not a fussy traveller and stayed im BW brand hotels in at least 5 countries and this experience was so disappointing I don't think I will be rushing back. The reception were completely unhelpful - upon checkin they refused to give me my prepaid room because my name said "Iggy" and not "Ignas" as per my passport. They said i will just have to make a new reservation. JOKERS! I contacted the hotel app i booked it through and they have updated the reservation in seconds. The reception said "they will accept the amendment on this one ocassion only" - trying to pretend they did not just try to scam me to pay for the same nights twice. There was a manager there too, he kept repeating same things as well. Even when I asked what would be the best course of action they just kept saying "book.new reservation". Finally got my room and its pretty disappointing too - black mold in the bathroom, cracking and stained walls, very loud aircon with unstable airflow.. At least the view is decent, cause I am struggling to find anything positive to say."
