"The staff where friendly, the hotel was clean, though some of it was very worn, like the chair in the bed room, breakfast was nice, the evening meal fish curry was very good."

"Room great - good view of the river Bure and boats..swans a swimming ! Good signal for internet and bathroom clean ( no mold ) good fan quality toiletries quality towels and warm - Great. Cannot fault it at all. Restaurant excellent quality of food and cooking good. I ate in the restaurant in the evening and had the Venison which was not overcooked - just right and the breakfast was diverse and plentiful - cannot fault at all Excellent welcoming staff from check in to leaving. "After a long day at the hospital we had decided not to travel to in the rain and dark so had booked this Hotel , so glad we did met by a lovely friendly young lady who welcomed us to the hotel , got our key and opened the door to a lovely large room on inspection it was clean and spacious checked bed sheets clean and felt just like home , mattress protector on which is a bonus not all hotels have these, the bathroom was fabulous you could eat off the floor the shower was a good size , the only...

"This was our first time back in over a year since under new management. We had the most lovely breakfast hamper in our room of yogurts , fruit ,museli , fresh milk , honey with tea coffee chocolate & juices. This was so much better for us personally as did not have to rush up to go down to breakfast in the morning giving us a much more relaxed approach to the day ahead . It was replenished if you put your sign on door next morning. I much preferred the layout of the bar area tables & chairs...

"A lovely little find, perfectly located for a trip on The Broads, or sitting watching the boats and wildlife. Great sized rooms. Excellent choice of breakfast freshly cooked. Enjoyed a couple of evening meals on site. Staff go above a beyond and are icing on the cake at this lovely old hotel. "
