"Was a little worried when I pulled up in the dark. Seemed in a rougher area at first. But I was tired and it was just dark lol so if ya show up at night don’t stress. No it’s not a new hotel. But it was extremely clean rooms. Not to mention VERY big rooms. And big bathroom. Like way bigger than a normal 2 bed hotel room. It was older on the outside for sure. But we were very happy with the price and the room. No breakfast so that stunk but free parking in Cali so yay. And I wasn’t stressing about my car getting broken into. Which in Cali is a big thing. Sadly. Overall very happy. Will definitely stay again as we are universal pass holders. "

"The Garland was clean and quiet. The employees were friendly and helpful. Colton, the day manager went above and beyond to assist me with a car charging issue. The front desk people were always friendly and had answers to all our questions."

"This hotel is very convenient to stay if you want to enjoy universal studios Hollywood. It’s less half a mile walk to the park or you can wait for the shuttle bus that will take you to the front of the park. "
