"We have stayed in several properties in St Ives and Brentwood is definitely by far the best. A wonderful location right on the beach and the house is perfectly furnished for both adults and children. Moreover, the host communicated with us before and during our stay, ensuring that we were happy with everything. We very much hope to stay there again next year."

"Shell cottage is in the perfect location, handy for all the shops and the sea front and is the perfect size for the two of us and our two dogs. We have stayed many times now and it is our go to holiday cottage but it is starting to look tired. It could do with decorating and certain things replacing. My niggles are relatively petty but annoying all the same. The plates are too big for the dishwasher as are most of the glasses, the few that remain that is. It is reasonably well equipped but the equipment is old and worn out. The baking trays are unusable as the coating is flaking, the knifes are blunt, the crockery is chipped, etc.The shower regularly backs us needing a visit from maintenance. The little courtyard is always overgrown and filthy, again requiring a visit from maintenance. The pictures should be updated on the booking site to reflect the current standard and general maintenance should happen regularly rather than as requested. That said we have our next two visits booked but will be bring additional things to use especially for our visit over Christmas where we will have no choice but to cook. A bit of TLC would go a long way towards making this the perfect 5 star cottage."

"The property was situated just off the beach had everything we needed to have a relaxing time in St Ives. Great help was the tap by the door to wash off the sand before entering the property. Beds were comfortable bedding fresh and clean. Host was great at communication access to the property and parking space was very straightforward. Loved our stay highly recommend"

"Cottage was lovely, clean and tidy on arrival, host helpful in guiding us to the cottage, car parked in safe secure car park. Everything close by, shops, restaurants, ATM, 3 or 4 good clean beaches in area.Directions to the cottage by the harbour are narrow roads with pedestrians milling about, so have to drive slowly."

"Clean space and absolutely excellent location - slap bang in the middle of the town opposite the harbour! It felt lovely and safe while we were there.We were under the impression it was the whole house but this is just the ground floor with the bedroom at the back. There is a bit of noise at night due to the old houses and thin walls.There was only one toilet roll stocked for our stay, so do bring your own.There were not enough hooks or shelf storage space for towels and jackets and bags.Overall, we had a lovely stay and it was a great base to have in the centre of beautiful St. Ives. We would definitely recommend this flat and it’s the perfect accommodation for a short stay by the sea at a great price point!"

"If I could give more stars for the location I would have, this place is stunning! Waking up in the morning and have breakfast by the sea is priceless. The hotel looks newly refurbished and it is at 3 minutes walk from the train station, very convenient location. The staff was also great, especially at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, I have got some food allergies and they took extra care which I really appreciated. However, despite doing their very best, they were short staffed and we could tell that they were quite stressed. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back and recommend to friends!"

"The cottage is in a fabulous cobbler street location, 2 minute walk to the harbour. The cottage is well equipped if you wanted to cook, we ate out because there are lots of lovely places to eat. The cottage was lovely and clean, great powerful shower. The host Victoria had left us milk, biscuits, tea, coffee, washing up liquid and tea towels. We had great communication from Victoria, any questions were responded really quickly. We didn’t want to leave and we will definitely return. Thank you so much, we we highly recommend and thank you. Xx"
