"Overall our one night stay was very good. The only issue was the room was very stuffy and warm. The windows do not open so no fresh air. The alternative was the a/c which was too close to the bed and was noisy."

"Clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Comfortable furniture, and a great TV to unwind at the end of a hectic day. The outdoor patio area was very nice and comfortable, and secluded enough to not feel like you're on display. The bed was a little soft for my tastes, but that really comes down to personal preference. The hosts reached out a couple weeks in advance of our stay to provide some info, and to ask what 4-digit code we would like for the door. I really appreciated not having to remember a random code, or needing to dig out my phone every time we got back to the location. Really a beautiful property and area, though the path to the door is quite steep, so be cautious if you're travelling during icy weather! Half-hour to 45 minutes to central Victoria, depending on traffic. Very convenient to Butchart Gardens, as well as the Swartz Bay ferry terminal. Several beautiful parks and wilderness areas close by as well. This was our last stop on a 2-week excursion, so being able to do a load of laundry was just the icing on the cake."

"I loved being so close to the beach and town Everything was within walking distance- including the grocery store, seafront walk, shops, restaurants. We had a balcony facing the water amazing view and sunrise. There were some plantings and grass on the grounds so it wasn't all concrete or ashphalt . There has been an effort to keep it beautiful, small, friendly and manageable. idk how long the site can stay like this but I LOVED it. So much better than a gargantuan chain hotel. Support local and simple. The breakfast was included and was a decent spread. Staff were friendly. The Riva restaurant was good we ate a lunch there. Room was cosy."

MOLLYS COTTAGE THE SUITE ON VANCOUVER ISLAND

"Molly’s Cottage is a nice, comfortable place to stay. It is very conveniently located near the Victoria Airport and Grocery Stores, approximately 5 minutes to each, by car. The milk and muffins in the refrigerator were a nice touch and the Keurig coffee and tea options were perfect. The binder was full of useful information and was very helpful. The one request from the owners that caught me off guard was to take off my shoes when entering the cottage. I don’t recall that being stated anywhere before I booked the cottage. Luckily, I brought my house slippers. The only other slight negatives were: I could not change the thermostat, the pillows were too thick, and the blankets were either too heavy or too light with no medium choice or additional light blankets. Those could be easy fixes, if the owners choose to do so. The beds, however, were comfortable, and the living room was a nice place to relax. I’d consider staying there again if I was to visit the area again."
