"Nice room, great view, good breakfast spread, great location"

"minor point... it can be a labrinth to get to your room. it's the personality of the real estate. however, if a staff member can see there's a deer in the head lights look in a "client" after being told the navigation instructions, recognize that and make sure there is staff available to help navigate the premises."

"This place was AMAZING!! The complimentary breakfast and wine happy hour were such a special touch that also brought all the guest's together. Whenever I am back in Pacific Grove, I will be stayingat the Charles. :) One of the best stays I have had in a long time."

"Room were a nice size and comfortable. Had an issue in the restaurant with the chef not listening to specific requests, such as how we would like steak cooked and we wanted the sauce on the side, was pretty disappointed with meal."
